What we publish
We do not do breaking news — that is everywhere already. We explain why something matters: the background Korean audiences already have and international readers usually do not.
How stories are chosen
Every day we collect what is trending in Korea and, separately, what English-language outlets are already covering. The gap between those two lists is where we work. If a story is already well covered in English, we skip it — there is nothing for us to add.
How facts are handled
- We never translate articles. Facts have no copyright; expression does. We gather facts from several outlets and write them in our own words.
- Only verifiable claims. Official statements, reported facts, works, activities. If we cannot verify something, we drop it.
- No rumours, private life, or unconfirmed dating reports. These are real people. An inaccurate piece is worse than no piece.
- Every source is listed at the end of each article, with links.
Images
The cards on this site are made by us. Where we use photographs, they are either openly licensed (with attribution) or officially embedded from the original account. We do not repost photos that belong to the people we write about.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say what changed. That record stays on the page.
