K Deep Cut is a small publication. We collect as little as possible, and we do not sell anything to anyone. This page describes exactly what happens when you read the site or leave a comment.
What we do not collect
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your email address. We do not store your IP address in readable form. We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone for marketing.
Comments
You can comment without logging in. When you post a comment we store:
- the display name you type (optional — otherwise “Anonymous”);
- the text of your comment;
- a one-way hash of the password you choose, so that you — and only you — can edit or delete that comment later. The password itself is never stored;
- a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string, used only to limit spam and flooding. The original IP address is not stored.
Comments are public as soon as you post them. You can edit or delete your own comment with the password you set. We may hide or remove comments that are spam, abusive, or impersonate someone. To have a comment removed without the password, write to us at the address below.
Comment data is stored on Cloudflare D1.
Spam protection
The comment form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots. Turnstile is a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs and does not track you across sites.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data (such as IP addresses) in order to serve pages and block attacks. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Advertising
K Deep Cut is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense and its partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Readers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent notice before personalised advertising cookies are set, and can change that choice at any time.
Search
Site search runs entirely in your browser. Your search terms are not sent to us or to any third party.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
You can browse without commenting, block cookies in your browser, and ask us to remove any comment you have left. Because we do not collect accounts or email addresses, there is normally nothing else of yours for us to hold.
